Born as the first of two
Loved by her parents like only a few
Soon her sister took over the throne
Left many of her talents unknown

Cradled with love that she had to share
She felt there was never enough left for her
But she´s not the kind to be waiting in line
With her mind she was always one step ahead
Worked out a plan and her goal was set
To finally find love that would hush her howling heart

When she was about to turn seventeen
And still didn´t feel like she was seen
She then gave her heart to a man so unlike her

Now she´s left, has been gone for a while
Travels the world chasing mile after mile
She´s looking for love so desperately
Still no one has healed her steady ache
Continues to love them until they break
She keeps running away, reaching for more

Veronika Morscher Vienna, Austria

Veronika Morscher is an Austrian singer-songwriter who just released her debut CD "My Heart On A String".
In April last year, she recorded her 8 song EP in Acton, MA/USA with musicians from all over the world.
Based in Cologne (Germany) and Vienna (Austria) at the moment, she performs her original music in a series of concerts around Europe.
