A body so hollow, no weight on its own
Wanders in circles, he wanders alone
His being is tainted for over the years
He´s used every reason to hide from his dreams

He´s hunted and hated and wounded and cut
And all that was true to him, he hastily shut
Away from the ghosts that struck roots on his back
And they torture him daily for the depth he still lacks.

And while he´s learned to endure their vicious assaults
He started to listen to the names they call him
And without even knowing, he´d forgotten the truth
His name, talents and youth

Now he´s seized by a darkness so blue
His feelings have withered to meaningless hues

Veronika Morscher Vienna, Austria

Veronika Morscher is an Austrian singer-songwriter who just released her debut CD "My Heart On A String".
In April last year, she recorded her 8 song EP in Acton, MA/USA with musicians from all over the world.
Based in Cologne (Germany) and Vienna (Austria) at the moment, she performs her original music in a series of concerts around Europe.
